As a result of the recent economic development efforts, the city of Debrecen has experienced a development unparalleled in previous decades. In addition to the transport and industrial infrastructure investments promoted by the Municipality of Debrecen, the arrival in recent years of a number of large multinational companies (BMW, Semcorp, EcoPro BM, CATL, EVE Power, etc.) has created a mass of infrastructure and real estate development projects of a volume and composition unprecedented in Hungary outside of the capital city. Therefore, to implement these projects, in 2018, the Municipality of Debrecen established an independent company with the capacity to address the challenges through its processes and expertise, in a flexible way.
